PS Jawara Describes HRMIS as One-Stop-Shop for all Employee Data

The Permanent Secretary at the Personnel Management Office (PMO) described Human Resource Management Information Systems (HRIS) as the one-stop-shop for all employee data.

Mr. Lamin Jawara made this remarked on Wednesday June 26, 2024 during Ministry of Public Service (MoPS) and its stakeholders’ s one-day internal validation workshop of HRMIS “AS IS and “TO BE” business process reports.

 

Organized by the Civil Service Reform and Planning Unit under the Ministry of Public Service (MoPS) and coordinated by the HRIS Directorate under the PMO.

The synergy was held at Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara Conference Center in Kololi attended by all the directors within the Ministry of Public Service (MoPS) and Personnel Management Office (PMO).

According to PS Jawara, modern HRMIS is a Human Resource (HR) software that houses all staff systems under one roof, adding that HR, benefits administration, recruitment, applicant tracking, training, compliance just to mentioned few.

On the employee side, PMO-PS Jawara went on, when HRMIS process completed, it will enables employees to exchange information with greater ease.

Director, Human Resource Information System Division (HRISD) at the Personnel Management Office, Babanding S. Manjang informed participants that Personnel Management Office (PMO) is the institution responsible for the Management of Human Resources under the Ministry of Public Services (PMO).

“PMO embark on the development of HRMIS and has contracted consultants from the CSM technologies in India who submitted their inception report followed by two of the reports we are validating today, the “AS IS” and the “TO BE”, Mr. Manjang informed participants.
